About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Maintenance:

- Record daily financial transactions and maintain an accurate general ledger.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

- Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, issuing payments, and maintaining vendor records.
- Handle accounts receivable by creating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding accounts.

Payroll Processing:

- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits.

Financial Reporting:

- Generate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for management review.

Budget Monitoring:

- Assist in monitoring budgets and tracking expenses.
- Provide insights and recommendations for budget adherence and cost control.

Tax Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Prepare and file tax forms and other statutory reports as needed.


Audit Support:

- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records for audit readiness.


Administrative Duties:

- Perform general administrative tasks related to bookkeeping and accounting.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and documentation.

Requirements

  • With at least 2 years of experience in Bookkeeping

  • Computer literate: Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Certificate of Employment from previous employer

  • Resume with 2×2 colored picture
